A very special thanks to Angus at Hines Design Lab whom I announced a partnership with about a month ago. He has cut and assembled our really cool Mars Rover: Opportunity design and now, you can see the end results on Make. http://blog.makezine.com/archive/2010/11/impressive_laser-cut_wooden_mars_ro.html There is A LOT more in the pipeline, I got videos, assembly photos… you name it and possibly another partnership to announce as well related to the Rover.

I had a few problems with uploading videos since I moved to China, hopefully those will get sorted out sooner than later but this month, total video views grew by a healthy 108%. [...]
Stephane is our newest designer here at WoodMarvels.com and the first model he has designed is his amazing Farmer’s Junior Tractor! He originally made this model for his two sons out of wooden dowels and as soon as I saw it, I just had to make a laser cut version and launch it here! Believe it or not, this assembly animation took upwards of a week to render… but the quality and feedback so far has made it well worth [...]
