I’m now getting through my backlog that had been built over the past few months, hence the rapid release of projects recently at WoodMarvels.com. This is my first attempt at engraving and plan on releasing the engraving files after I have tested them to make sure they work as I intend – hence why the engraving/raster files aren’t included with the EPS files or found in the PDF for this Electronics Trophy. This is my second trophy, the first, I [...]

The WoodMarvels.com Ferris Wheel B had a very straight forward design process as I already knew what I was building, just a better and easier to build version of the original Ferris Wheel which has since been retired. David also made a simple graphic to explain how this whole tree goes together, which is included with the EPS/DXF file you buy. You can buy it right now at WoodMarvels.com under Collaborations / David [...]

I built my first laser cut ferris wheel a while back below is the animation of the now retired model. Ferris Wheel (original): 3D Assembly Animation Although the model went well, it has some issues that mostly geared around the gears as they were done by eye. I’ve since acquired a program that generates accurate physical gears and the updated Ferris Wheel uses it. There have also been a host of refinements to the point that were based off customer [...]

Well, the teething and crying has gotten to me so WoodMarvels.com and all other sites on this server are in the process of migrating to a bigger server with even faster connection speeds over the next few days. Things may get a little wacky in the meantime… moving has been known to cause temper tantrums with even the best of coding. If you have issues with your orders during the next week, please let me know. Jon Founder of WoodMarvels.com
